Optimism abounds for Help-U-Sell in the Kwazulu Natal Region

While negativity has been the country’s primary outlook regarding the residential property market, the group at Help-U-Sell Real Estate is experiencing the opposite.  Interest rate increases and the NCA have slowed down sales and forced the property market into a buyers’ market while Help-U-Sell has seen an increase in sales volumes and a favorable response from the public. But this kind of a reaction does not come without hard work and dedication to your profession, says Robert Stevens, Director of Help-U-Sell Real Estate.Grant Walker

After only one year of operation in the Durban area Help-U-Sell has opened three franchises, two in the highway area and one in the northern suburbs. All three franchises have returned excellent results in their short time of operation and so successful has the brand been that due to demand, Help-U-Sell ‘Toti’ has opened its doors as from February 2008. Grant Walker, Regional Director of Help-U-Sell Kwazulu Natal, is confident that joint principals Mike Ross and Martin Mostert, both seasoned Real Estate operators, are going to carry on flying the Help-U-Sell banner of success. “Since opening their doors Mike and Martin have been inundated with calls from keen sellers wanting sell their properties and retain more of their valuable equity by making use of our Fixed Fee option”. In Mikes own words “We are going to rock Durban South”. “We are extremely excited with Help-U-Sell ‘Toti’ and believe that Mike and Martin have the drive and dedication to be a strong force in our network and especially in their local market”, adds Stevens.

Grand Walker Regional Director and owner of Help-U-Sell Westpine located in Westville achieved over R60 million on property sales and saved sellers over R1.8 million in commissions during its first 12 months of operation.

Brenda CoomerAnother success story for Help-U-Sell this week comes from their Randburg office located on the corner of Surrey and Republic Rd. Owner Johnnie Louw’s advice to all franchisees is to surround yourself with great staff and agents. His advise surely paid off when agent Brenda Coomer completed 3 sales on the 5th of February this year making it 8 for the past four weeks. She also did 5 deals in December 2006.

One of the reasons for Help-U-Sell’s growth is the level of support it provides for franchisees. A support network ensures that all offices have the knowledge, tools and training to be effective in their market. “Help-U-Sell offers us intensive training and continued assistance on all aspects of our business to overcome the challenges and to capture the opportunities available in the market” says Louw.

Help-U-Sell Real Estate was launched 30 years ago in the United States and operates on a fee-for-service basis. The company expanded rapidly and was ranked number 15 in Entrepreneur’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies for 2005. The concept was then introduced in South Africa during June 2006, and since then the company has opened nearly 40 franchises across Gauteng, KZN and Mpumalanga.
